Relay teams are comprised of 2-4 riders. At least half the riders on a coed team must be women. Each rider on the team will register individually for $40.00 and must provide their team's name when registering on PreRace.com.

All entry fees will increase by $10.00 after midnight on July 26th, 2012, and there is NO race day registration.

Black Hills Back40 Race/Ride Registration

Black Hills Back40 is proud to use PreRace.com for our participants' race registration.  Participant race registration will be done solely online through PreRace.com, and we will not be offering race day registration.  The number of racers will be capped at 500.  Black Hills Back40 T-shirts will be given to the first 100 registrants who register by June 30th.  No special racing license is required for the Black Hills Back40.

Registration packets can be picked up the week before the race, Monday - Thursday from 8am - 5pm, at Meyer and Dana Orthodontics, 2620 Jackson Blvd, in the Creekside Office complex next to Storybook Island. Packets can also be picked up the evening before the race, July 27, at the Hotel Alex Johnson in downtown Rapid City.  Participants will be asked to sign a waiver of liability at packet pickup.
