Race/Ride Registration

Registration opens March 10th, Registration closes July 20th!

Black Hills Back40 is proud to use PreRace.com for our participants' race registration.  Participant race registration will be done solely online through PreRace.com, and we will not be offering race day registration.  The number of racers will be capped at 500.  Black Hills Back40 T-shirts will be given to the first 100 registrants who register by June 30th.  No special racing license is required for the Black Hills Back40.

Registration packets can be picked up the week before the race, July 23-25, (Tuesday – Thursday) from 8am - 5pm, at Meyer and Dana Orthodontics, 2620 Jackson Blvd, in the Creekside Office complex next to Storybook Island. Packets can also be picked up the evening before the race, July 26, at the Hotel Alex Johnson in downtown Rapid City.  Participants will be asked to sign a waiver of liability at packet pickup.

**Attention: Registration costs will increase $5 after July 13th, and registration closes after July 20th.
